About

Ni Xueping, female, born in 1994, from Shaoxing, Zhejiang. Graduated with a Ph.D. from Zhejiang University in 2021, and later joined the School of Information and Electronic Engineering of Zhejiang Gongshang University (Sussex School of Artificial Intelligence) as a full-time teacher with more than 2 years of foreign research experience (United States, University of Georgia).

The main research areas are the application of deep learning, machine vision, image processing, near-infrared hyperspectral and other technologies in the field of smart agriculture. Currently, he has published a number of research papers, and has published 3 SCI papers and 3 EI papers as the first author. Among them, 3 SCI papers were published in SCI TOP journals, and the 5-year impact factors are 12.4, 9, and 8.3 respectively. In addition, he has conducted research reports at the international conference ASABE for three consecutive years and won the best paper award at this conference in 2020.

In the past five years, he has hosted or participated in many projects and topics. Among them, as the project leader, I presided over a general project of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education (under research), as a member participated in a National Natural Science Foundation of China project (completed), and as a member participated in a major project of the Zhejiang Provincial Key Research and Development Plan (in progress). research, with a funding of 7 million yuan), and participated as a member in a general project of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education (under research).

The undergraduate courses he currently teaches include Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Electronic and Circuit System Design Experiments, and Professional Skills Management, and the postgraduate courses he teaches include Machine Learning and Machine Learning and Applications. At the same time, he is currently serving as the class teacher of the AI Electronics 2202 class at Sussex Artificial Intelligence Institute. He has served as a tutor for many undergraduates and graduate students, and is currently leading the scientific research and projects of 8 master's students as a cooperative tutor.

In terms of external exchanges, I have in-depth academic exchanges and cooperation with the Intelligent Bio-Industry Equipment Innovation Team of Zhejiang University and the Bio-sensing and Instrumentation Lab of the University of Georgia. In addition, there are corresponding cooperation channels with the Cyber-Agricultural Intelligence and Robotics Laboratory of Cornell University in the United States and Shangpeng Sun's laboratory at McGill University in Canada.
