从事深度学习、机器学习与大数据等领域的研究,关注样本稀缺、无标签等弱监督/无监督学习任务,在迁移学习、领域自适应等方向上做了系统性的深入研究,提出多个高效的跨域迁移学习算法,相关的研究成果已录用发表SCI及EI检索论文10余篇,另授权3项美国专利,担任多个国际期刊的审稿人。近年来参与教育部人工智能算法战略规划课题、国家自然科学基金项目、上海市自然科学基金项目等多项科研项目。
