About

ZHANG Li-Xin is a  Professor at Zhejiang Gongshang University since 2024. He obtained his Ph.D. in Probability and Statistics from Fudan University in 1995, was promoted to Professor in 1997 at Hangzhou Univerty, and jointed Zhejiang University in 1998 when Hangzhou University was merged into Zhejiang University. Since 2001, he has successively served as Vice Director, Deputy Director, and Director of the Institute of Statistics at Zhejiang University, as well as Vice Chair of the Department of Mathematics, Vice Dean of the School of Mathematical Sciences, and Vice Chair of the Center for Data Science at Zhejiang University. Currently, he is an Elected Member of the Executive Committee of Chinese Association for Applied Statistic and Elected President of Zhejiang Association for Applied Statistics. 

ZHANG Li-Xin's  main research areas include adaptive randomization design for clinical trials, probability limit theory, and dependent data modeling. He has published over 180 academic papers and has awarded 1 grant from National Key Research and Development Program of China, and, 1 grant for Distinguished Young Scholars, 1 grant for Key Projects, 1 grant for Joint Fund Key Projects, and 5 grants for general projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has also participated in the research of several major projects such as the National Key Research and Development Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China key project, and the Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation key project. 

In 1998, ZHANG Li-Xin was selected for the "1-5-1 Talents Project" of Zhejiang Province, in 2008 he was selected for the "New Century Excellent Talents Support Program" of the Ministry of Education, in 2018 he was selected as a leading talent in scientific and technological innovation in Zhejiang Province, and in 2020 he was elected as a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. He won the 2016-2018 Advanced individual in "Teaching, Education Administration or Education Service" at Zhejiang Province. The textbook "Probability Theory" co-edited with LIN Zhengyan  and SU Zhonggen was selected as a National "Twelfth Five-Year" planning textbook, and "Probability Theory and Stochastic Processes" was selected for the National "1-0-1 plan".
